Tad's passion for photography and love of the outdoors began as a youngster camping all over the western United States in the family trailer. It grew signifcantly during the many hiking and backpacking trips in the backcountry of the Sierra Nevada mountains, many of which were in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
He always packed a camera of some sort, but it was his first SLR, a fully manual Pentax MX, that opened the door to new photography possibilities. Since then, photography has became a passion and a personal creative outlet.
When not in the field photographing, he can be found at Sony Pictures Imageworks integrating computer graphics into feature films.
